表現の自由を制限するという批判もあるが、女性の社会進出、社会の安定、人権尊重といった観点から賛成の立場で語るのが回答しやすいかなと思います

Q: Should political correctness be promoted in society?

　Political correctness is one of the most contentious issues in modern society. Although some people claim that this concept can violate freedom of speech, I believe that it is important to promote political correctness for the following three reasons.

Firstly, promotion of political correctness raises public awareness about the importance of protecting human rights and dignity. The use of political correct expressions can help protect the human rights of socially disadvantaged people including LGBTs and physically and mentally challenged people. This has a ripple effect of eradicating social prejudice and discrimination against minorities.

Secondly, promotion of political correctness contributes to social stability by reducing racial prejudice and discrimination in multicultural societies. The use of politically correct expressions can encourage people to embrace cultural differences, thus alleviating tensions between groups with different values. Otherwise, an influx of foreigners with different cultures would generate cross-culturak conflicts including hate crimes.

Thirdly, promotion of political correctness contributes to female empowerment by expanding job options for women. For example, the use of gender-neutral expressions such as “legislator” and “chair or chairperson” in place of gender-specific expressions like “congressman” and “chairman” will enlighten the general public about that there is no connection between gendar and job performance, thus encouraging women’s broader participation in the workforce.

In conclusion, for the above-mentioned three reasons, the protection of the human rights of socially disadvantaged people as well as contribution to female empowerment and social stability, I strongly believe in the promotion of political correctness.
