先々月、我が家にベイビーが誕生しました！！！

ベイビーの子守唄として、僕でも歌えそうな英語の歌を探していたら、

『大きなの古時計』の英語版がありました。

Johny Cashの”My Grandfather’s Clock”

テンポがよくとても聞きやすい＆歌いやすいので、気に入っています♬

Johny Cashは色んな曲をカバーしてますね～


日本語の「大きな古時計」では、100年休まずチクタクチクタク～♬　ですが、

英語版では、Ninety years without slumbering~♬ だったり、と10年間の違いがあります。

あと、日本語の「大きな古時計」は、「きれいな花嫁やってきた～その日も動いてた～♬嬉しいことも、悲しいこともみな知っている時計さ～♬」と、時計がおじいさんの人生を見つめてる感じがありますが、


英語版ではその歌詞が全カットされていてショックを受けました (´;ω;｀)

やっぱり私は聞きなれた日本語版のほうが好きな気がします(笑)

ちなみに、日本語の「大きな古時計」と言えば、私の中ではダントツ平井堅です( *´艸｀)
（久しぶりにMVを見ると、この部屋めっちゃ水あるやん！と気になってしまいましたｗ）
